Mr. Johnson Zhou, the founder, joined hands with Mr. Tom Cole, Chief Operating Officer of the UK-based ITL Group, to co-found Integrated Electronic Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (IES), the first subsidiary of ITL Group in China. This initiative realized the systematic localization of internationally advanced manufacturing technologies in China, laying a solid foundation for the enterprise's core technical capabilities, standardized quality systems and global market resource layout in the field of life science instruments and medical devices.

 

2018-2023 Tempering · Accumulating Core Strength

After the ITL Group was acquired by a UK listed company, the company entered a new stage of strategic integration and development, with IES maintaining steady business operations. In 2023, due to major strategic adjustments by the acquirer, IES, which had developed for 15 years, officially closed operations. Though this transformation ended the operation of a single entity, it completely preserved and tempered a core team with in-depth industry experience, and precipitated a mature R&D, production and sales system as well as industrial service capabilities, accumulating core strength for the brand's rebirth.

 

2024 Rebirth · Setting Sail with a New Vision

Building on the comprehensive core accumulation over 15 years, Mr. Johnson Zhou led the original core team of IES to officially found the brand Langen Biomed, and established Langen Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Langen Biomed (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. simultaneously. The two entities operate in synergy with distinct responsibilities: one focuses on the construction of a professional international sales network, and the other on the development of an independent R&D, production and sales system, realizing a comprehensive strategic upgrade of the brand, technology, talents and corporate culture. In the field of international cooperation, Mr. Johnson Zhou once again joined hands with Mr. Tom Cole, Founder and Managing Director of XT Biomed UK, to empower Langen with profound industrial experience and a global strategic vision. Together, they map out the development blueprint and drive the company to build sustainable core competitiveness in the fields of life science instruments, high-end medical diagnostic equipment and high-value consumables.

 

2025 Breakthrough · Sailing Globally

Langen Biomed ushered in a pivotal year of breakthroughs in its international development: the first batch of medical trolley products were successfully delivered to UK customers, achieving the substantive landing of overseas market expansion; the production base successfully passed the ISO13485 Quality Management System Certification, with its R&D and manufacturing capabilities recognized by international authorities; the new generation Microplate Heat Sealer L200Pro was officially launched, and obtained three international compliance certifications including CE, UKCA and FCC simultaneously, demonstrating the product's core competitiveness and compliance assurance in the world's mainstream markets. In this year, Langen Biomed achieved multi-dimensional breakthroughs from product landing and system certification to market expansion, comprehensively consolidating the industrial foundation for its global layout.
